On September 15th, the Shadow Open Market Committee (SOMC) held its Fall 2017 meeting. The keynote address was delivered by Mervyn King, The Lord King of Lothbury KG GBE
Mervyn King, The Lord King of Lothbury KG GBE, is the School Professor of Economics and Political Science at the London School of Economics. From 2003 to 2013, he served as Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee and Financial Policy Committee. He holds a B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge.
