Jeff van den Noort

Jeff van den Noort is an expert in bridging new technologies with quantitative economic and financial analysis. Mr. van den Noort has over 20 years of experience in technology and economic analysis. Mr. van den Noort has served as an advisor and consultant to major international corporations, financial institutions, and non-profit companies.
Most recently, Mr. van den Noort was the Manager for Research and Technology at Headwaters Economics - an independent, nonprofit research group dedicated to improving community development and land management decisions in the West.
Prior to Headwaters Economics, Mr. van den Noort served as the Chief Technology Officer at GlobalEcon LLC, where he maximized the value of Firm's computer systems and developed an interactive state of the art web site. In the area of economics and finance, he built financial tools and econometric modeling systems to strengthen the Firm's analytic capabilities. He developed technology automation systems and was instrumental in training and education.
Prior to GlobalEcon LLC, he served as the Technical Support Consultant for The WEFA Group in San Francisco, after the merger of Chase Econometrics and Wharton Econometric Forecast Associates in 1987. In this capacity, he provided technical advising, consulting, training, and sales support for the Western Region. Prior to the merger, Mr. van den Noort served as Senior Economic Analyst at Chase Econometrics in their Foreign Exchange and U.S. Financial Services.
In addition to his consulting and advisory work, Mr. van den Noort has direct experience in the financial markets. At the Bank of America, he served as an economist providing financial market analysis for fixed-income traders. He analyzed and wrote extensively on developments impacting fixed-income securities, foreign exchange, equities, and commodities markets.
Mr. van den Noort received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
